Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in supervisory or assistant management roles within the restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Certification in food safety such as ServSafe is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Assist the restaurant general manager in overseeing daily operations including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage cash handling and shift management tasks
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Supervise and train restaurant crew members and shift managers providing guidance and feedback
  • Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
  • Assist in managing restaurant finances including monitoring sales and expenses
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Communicate effectively with the restaurant manager, staff, and corporate headquarters
