MGM Resorts International is seeking a dedicated Assistant General Manager to join the team at the Luxor's Pyramid Café and Room Service operations. This full-time role is centered on supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant and room service activities, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and financial success. The Assistant General Manager works closely with culinary and service teams to create seamless dining experiences that align with MGM’s standards for quality and guest satisfaction.
In this role, the Assistant General Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations, including managing budgets, labor productivity, and scheduling. They will implement marketing strategies to boost profitability and collaborate on the execution of business plans. Additionally, this leadership position involves a hands-on approach to human resources functions such as recruitment, training, coaching, employee recognition, and succession planning, emphasizing teamwork and compliance with legal and company standards.
The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction by directly interacting with patrons, resolving complaints efficiently, and managing feedback channels. They will coordinate closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service flow between kitchen and dining areas, uphold health and sanitation standards, and ensure staff complete all mandatory training.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum two years of relevant experience
- must be 21 years of age or older
- previous experience in café or room service environment preferred
- understanding of hospitality operations
- ability to manage staff and operations under collective bargaining agreements
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
