The company offers stable work environments and flexibility in scheduling, emphasizing work-life balance and career advancement. Located in Brooklyn Park, MN, this Wendy's franchise is independently owned and operated, delivering the same high standards of service and operational excellence associated with the brand. This position is an excellent career opportunity for individuals who are motivated and career-minded, with a passion for leadership and operational management in the food service industry.
As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Wendy's, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager with overseeing daily restaurant operations. This involves managing a team, ensuring superior customer service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining operational metrics. The AGM serves as a key leader and role model, setting the tone for a supportive and engaging work environment. With a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $20.00, the position offers flexible scheduling and a comprehensive set of benefits including personal time off, medical, dental and vision plans, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
The role demands strong interpersonal skills, a results-oriented approach, and the ability to effectively manage and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment. Wendy's encourages internal promotions based on personal performance and business needs, offering a clear career path from Assistant General Manager to General Manager, Training General Manager, District Manager, and beyond. Employees benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities to advance their skills and management abilities.
The position requires flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, with closures on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, access to private transportation, and be able to pass a background screening. Physical requirements include the ability to walk and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Wendy's is an equal opportunity employer committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities and fostering an inclusive workplace. This franchise location is committed to pay transparency and equitable pay practices, supporting employee rights to discuss and inquire about compensation. Joining Wendy's as an AGM means becoming part of a respected, growing organization dedicated to career growth, competitive pay, flexible hours, and a positive employee experience.
