The role of Assistant General Manager / Kitchen Manager at Ruby Sunshine is a hybrid leadership position perfectly suited for an energetic, hospitality-driven professional who flourishes in fast-paced, full-service restaurant settings. This role carries significant responsibility, supporting both the Heart of House (kitchen operations) and Front of House (guest service) teams to orchestrate an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. As a key leader within the management team, you will step in as the primary leadership support during the General Manager’s absence, overseeing daily operations and ensuring that the restaurant's high standards for food quality, hospitality, and cleanliness are consistently met.

Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- strong kitchen leadership experience
- prior Heart of House and Front of House management experience
- minimum 1-2 years in a similar leadership role
- clear verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Serve as the primary leadership support in the absence of the General Manager
- lead daily FOH and BOH operations in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- coach, develop, and motivate the restaurant Krewe
- ensure exceptional food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational standards
- support staffing, training, scheduling, and team development initiatives
- jump in where needed to support efficient operations and guest satisfaction
- help drive restaurant performance through leadership, accountability, and execution
