The role of the Property Manager, with specific oversight of Accounting and Front Office Management, is pivotal in maintaining the operational backbone of the hotel. This position requires a dynamic individual who can coordinate, administer, direct, and manage all property activities effectively. The Property Manager acts as the key interface with the General Manager, ensuring that all operations strictly adhere to hotel and company policies and procedures. This role demands a proactive leader who can direct and supervise the Front Office Manager, guaranteeing exceptional guest service and operational accuracy in every phase of the front office functions. Working closely with Corporate Accounting, the Property Manager ensures the timely and complete fulfillment of all accounting tasks aligned with the company’s policy standards.
Additionally, this role requires proficient communication skills to interact clearly and effectively with both guests and associates, providing accurate information, answering inquiries, and offering reliable directions and instructions. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in front office and accounting management, paired with computer fluency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and an understanding of manual front desk procedures. Organizational and leadership capabilities are essential, as the role involves not only operational management but also guiding and inspiring front office staff to perform at their best. Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk, occasional standing and walking, and the dexterity to handle typical office equipment. Job Requirements
