Job Description
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a thriving hotel located in East Tennessee as an Assistant General Manager. Our establishment prides itself on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences, blending comfort, quality, and outstanding service to ensure every guest feels valued and welcomed. As a full-service hotel, our focus is on creating a positive environment not only for our guests but also for our staff, encouraging collaboration, growth, and professional development within the hospitality industry. Our hotel is a vibrant and dynamic workplace where the commitment to excellence drives every aspect of operation, positioning us as a preferred destination for travelers and employees alike.
The role of Assistant General Manager is crucial in fostering this culture of excellence. As the right hand to the General Manager, you will play a key leadership role, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all hotel departments. This salaried, full-time, exempt position is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a drive to inspire a team. Your primary focus will be on three pillars: People, Product, and Profit — in that order. This means your attention will center on nurturing the team, ensuring top-quality service and guest experiences, alongside maintaining strong financial performance.
In your role, you will collaborate closely with department heads, providing leadership, setting goals, and implementing action plans that drive progress and success. Your ability to communicate effectively and respond promptly to your team’s needs will be essential for building strong, positive relationships. Monitoring performance regularly will also be part of your responsibilities, enabling you to report key wins and challenges to the General Manager while assessing their effect on hotel profitability and operational stability.
Your day-to-day tasks will include ensuring a safe, high-quality experience for guests from check-in through check-out, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to service excellence. We seek a candidate who is not only skilled in hospitality management but also possesses a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a genuine desire to build a team-first environment.
Additionally, the role offers competitive pay, based on your experience, along with comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance. You will also have access to free telehealth services, a 401(k) retirement plan, and innovative daily pay access to provide financial flexibility. This position offers an excellent chance for career growth within a supportive team committed to your professional development. If you are ready to step into a leadership role that makes a real impact while being part of a fun and engaging workplace, we encourage you to apply and grow with us.
