CRISP & GREEN is seeking a highly talented Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join their exceptional team. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that every guest receives outstanding service and enjoys delicious meals consistently. This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage both the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations while mentoring and empowering the team. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, driving financial performance, and cultivating a supportive and motivating work environment.

The AGM will be the face of the CRISP & GREEN brand and act as the essential link that holds the team together. This position demands leadership skills to lead shifts, oversee hiring processes, support training initiatives, and provide constructive performance feedback to team leads and staff. The AGM will also ensure that food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and inventory controls are thoroughly executed according to company protocols. By identifying operational gaps, the AGM will make timely decisions to resolve issues and optimize the restaurant’s performance.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee labor scheduling, cost control, and monitoring key performance indicators such as food waste and overtime. This role requires a commitment to fostering a culture of hospitality, wellness, and accountability, modeling values of integrity and leading by example. Those who excel as AGMs are encouraged to grow within the company, as this role is designed to develop future General Managers who will eventually own and operate their own CRISP & GREEN locations.

This full-time position offers competitive wages, a flexible schedule with the expectation of working approximately 50 hours per week, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years previous management/supervisory experience
  • 3 years customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Lead shifts and serve as manager on duty
  • coach and develop team leads and certified team leads
  • assist with hiring, training, and performance feedback
  • ensure adherence to all food safety, cleanliness, and service standards
  • execute opening/closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling
  • identify operational gaps and resolve issues on shift
  • support GM with labor scheduling and cost control
  • monitor shift-level P&L drivers such as food waste and overtime
