The role of Assistant General Manager at Applegreen is a key leadership position responsible for supporting the General Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day business activities at the travel plazas. Your responsibilities will also include stepping in for the General Manager during their absence, motivating staff especially during times of low morale, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintaining a clean and inviting environment that meets brand standards, managing cash and financial reporting accurately, addressing customer needs to build strong relationships, and overseeing inventory counts to ensure accuracy are all critical aspects of this role.
