The Assistant General Manager position at Delaware North Sportservice offers a dynamic leadership opportunity within the vibrant setting of American Family Field. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business or related, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years’ experience in premium food and beverage hospitality
  • Experience in high volume sports venue concessions
  • Strong P&L management skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor a diverse workforce
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven customer service experience

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business or related, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years’ experience in premium food and beverage hospitality, with a strong preference for both premium and concessions in a high volume sports environment
  • Strong P&L management skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor a diverse workforce, working independently and as part of a team
  • Organizational and time management skills, as well as written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience in providing excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Assist in establishing and implementing current and long-term objectives, plans and policies, and budget
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with license partners and maintain positive guest relations, ensuring enjoyable and memorable experiences
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of unit management and oversee supervision of team members and ensure company policy and procedures are followed
  • Oversee the recommendation and creation of prices and portions for products and services within the approved profit plan
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding liquor, sanitation, payroll, and employment
