In this role, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for providing exceptional service, functioning as the primary liaison between customers and employees, and ensuring smooth operational performance. This includes overseeing opening and closing procedures, managing cash registers and deposits, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Assistant General Manager also assists the back-of-house team with various tasks such as assembling orders and light pressing duties, ensuring that operational needs are met efficiently.

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers
  • Serve as primary liaison with customers
  • Support and provide oversight for the Customer Service Representatives
  • Open and/or close registers and prepare nightly deposits
  • Greet and assist all walk-in customers in the store
  • Meet, greet, and assist all valet drive-up customers at their car
  • Process customer phone and personal relations
  • Consultatively assist customers with cleaning, stain and/or finishing needs and/or concerns
  • Sort and examine articles, picking out those that may need hand spotting, or stain treatment
  • Occasionally assist back-of-house team members, including assembling orders and light pressing duties
  • Mark-In incoming customer orders
  • identify garments to be laundered or dry cleaned, tag, mark and classify all pieces and input information into the computerized register
  • Consistently ensure cash drawer accuracy
  • Follow Company’s new customer protocol
  • Attend Company offered ongoing training and education, and on-site training
