Job Description
Resurgence Brewing Co. (RBC) is a celebrated craft brewery deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of Buffalo, New York, known colloquially as the City of Good Neighbors. Since its establishment in 2013, RBC has played an influential role in the city's notable resurgence, positioning itself as a cornerstone of the local craft beverage scene. The brewery prides itself on delivering exceptional, well-crafted beers that not only satisfy the palate but also build community and create memorable experiences. With an expansion into Florida, RBC continues to broaden its reach, bringing its exciting brewing tradition and inviting atmosphere to new markets. RBC is much more than a brewing company; it’s a gathering place where friends, both old and new, can share in unforgettable beer moments whether enjoying their favorite brew at home, in a local bar, or during a tour of the extraordinary brewery itself.
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at RBC is a pivotal figure who ensures that each visit to the brewery’s taproom is marked by superior service, a vibrant atmosphere, and operational excellence. This full-time position commands a dynamic role that bridges front-of-house welcoming hospitality with back-of-house operational rigor. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the AGM oversees daily operations, staff management, and customer relations, all while embodying the brewery’s unique FU Awesome energy, vibe, and culture. It's imperative that the AGM integrates seamlessly into RBC's thriving environment, enhancing the staff and guest experience with a blend of strong leadership, operational expertise, and a genuine passion for craft beer, cider, cocktails, and hospitality.
The AGM's responsibilities extend to supervising staff, enforcing policies and procedures, scheduling, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires flexibility including availability on weekends and evenings in alignment with the restaurant and brewery’s hours. RBC values an AGM who fosters a positive, inclusive work culture reflecting the brand's values of community, quality, and fun. The base salary for this position is competitive at $65,000 annually, with potential bonuses reflecting performance and contribution.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about the craft beverage industry and hospitality, offering a chance to grow within a company that champions innovation, quality, and community integration. RBC provides a lively, collaborative work environment where your leadership can have a tangible impact on the guest experience and overall brewery success. Join RBC and become part of a team that values your energy and commitment to making every beer moment truly extraordinary.
