Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, associates degree acceptable
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in a management role
  • Experience in resort or hotel operations including oversight of multiple functional areas
  • Knowledge of budget administration, labor management, and cost controls
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to monitor and improve service delivery
  • Experience with vacation ownership or HOA-managed resorts preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of resort and hotel operations including oversight of front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and security
  • Knowledge of budget administration, labor management, and cost controls
  • Ability to monitor service delivery, conduct property inspections, identify operational issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and performance management skills for department managers and supervisors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to lead meetings, support team member engagement, and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Experience in vacation ownership, HOA-managed resorts, or branded resort operations strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, associates degree acceptable
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in a management role

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute initiatives for resort operations within designated site locations in alignment with the General Manager
  • Maintain compliance with organizational, business, and financial regulations
  • Manage and hold accountable various department heads, overseeing timetables, work schedules, management, and leadership of team members
  • Oversee HR management practices executed by direct reports including recruitment, performance management, and corrective action in partnership with HR Business Partner
  • Monitor all systems and processes impacting guest experience to ensure outstanding service and resolve service issues
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations to maintain product and service quality standards, develop business strategies and initiate corrective actions
  • Participate in development and oversight of HOA and operations budgets including forecasting and reporting
  • Manage relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with business supporters and suppliers
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with sales, marketing, rental business partners, HOA board members, owners, and guests
  • Serve as a key leadership role at assigned locations working closely with the General Manager to ensure consistent messaging and goals
  • Provide management oversight for food and beverage operations including scheduling, staffing, ordering, budgeting and financial accountability
