This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse lifestyles and commitments, combined with some of the best pay rates in the industry, ranging from $14 to $35 per hour. Assistant Managers also have access to a rewarding bonus program with the potential to earn an additional $20,000 annually. The Assistant Manager role is a non-exempt management position, typically requiring a minimum of 50 hours per week, with scheduling that may include early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

The Assistant Manager's core responsibilities revolve around operational excellence and team empowerment. You will guide your team, ensuring that all duties are performed efficiently and safely, customer service standards are consistently met, and health and safety guidelines are strictly followed. Your leadership will create a supportive and positive work culture, resolving employee questions and conflicts with care and professionalism. You will also handle customer complaints with sincerity and a problem-solving mindset.

Operational duties include strategic planning, driving profits by interpreting profit and loss statements, recruiting and developing top talent, minimizing losses through strict cash handling policies, managing labor and inventory control, and maintaining strict adherence to food safety through the ServSafe certification. You will have the responsibility to maintain the restaurant’s point of sale systems and oversee daily operational tasks that ensure smooth and efficient restaurant performance.

Job Requirements

  • minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience or combined experience and education
  • serve safe certified
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work early mornings evenings late nights weekends and some holidays
  • non-exempt management position requires minimum 50 hours per week
  • physical ability to sit stand bend lift and move intermittently during working hours
