The Assistant General Manager (AGM) position at Taco Bell is an integral leadership role responsible for managing the restaurant's daily operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager. The AGM is pivotal in ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant, from product preparation to customer relations and team management, meets and exceeds company standards. This role requires a dedicated leader passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning restaurant environment. The AGM oversees compliance with safety regulations, financial accountability, inventory control, and team recruitment and retention. A successful candidate must bring strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and business acumen to help drive the restaurant's success. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • at least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager
  • valid driver's license
  • legal right to work in the United States
  • able to lift 10-40 pounds
  • able to reach with arms and hands
  • able to stand and walk for long periods

Job Duties

  • Directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the Restaurant General Manager's absence
  • ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation
  • overseeing product preparation and delivery
  • managing customer relations
  • supervising restaurant maintenance and repair
  • handling inventory management
  • recruiting, managing, and retaining team members
  • maintaining financial accountability
  • ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer
  • ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies
