WKS Restaurant Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing multi-concept franchise restaurant developer and operator. Currently, WKS operates over 300 stores across 17 states, representing some of the most popular and beloved brands in the food service industry, including El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, Denny's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Blaze Pizza, and Corner Bakery Cafe. This job opportunity is for the position of Assistant General Manager at a Wendy's restaurant under the WKS Restaurant Group umbrella. The Assistant General Manager plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring the store meets its objectives. This position requires a strong leadership presence and a thorough understanding of company operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing all company policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and upholding ethical business standards.

In addition to operational duties, the Assistant General Manager participates actively in crew orientation, training programs, and ensures that the team is well-prepared to deliver the best customer experiences. The role demands the ability to read and interpret operational documents, safety rules, and maintenance instructions, as well as the capability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with employees and customers. Mathematical skills such as the ability to perform basic computations and interpret graphs are essential to manage inventory, sales reports, and scheduling.

Qualified candidates will have a combination of formal education and practical experience. Typically, this includes a one-year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months of related experience and/or training. Certifications such as Serve-Safe are required, and within 90 days of hire, candidates must attend a Crew Interviewing Workshop to enhance their management skills. Paid vacation is accrued bi-weekly, starting at two weeks annually, with an increase to three weeks after the fifth-year anniversary.   • Must attend Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
