From cooks and cashiers to restaurant managers and beyond, the company fosters a family-oriented culture where everyone plays an essential role in upholding the brand's core values. These values, which include Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment, are deeply woven into the fabric of daily operations and guide the company's commitment to making lives better.
Border Foods stands out not only for its impressive scale but for its dedication to unlocking the potential of every employee and guest. The company prioritizes creating safe, welcoming, and supportive environments in its restaurants, ensuring that every individual can thrive. This dedication extends beyond business growth to actively shaping positive life experiences for both team members and customers alike.
The Assistant Manager role at Border Foods is integral to sustaining and reinforcing the company's core values on the ground. The Assistant Manager acts as a key figure in running the entire restaurant, responsible for building strong teams that consistently deliver great food alongside a friendly and efficient customer experience. Assistant Managers contribute to strategic planning and operational success by managing scheduling, performance monitoring, quality assurance, and compliance with health and safety standards. They build cross-functional relationships, support team members during challenges, and serve as a liaison for resolving customer concerns with sincerity and effectiveness. Under their guidance, team members receive ongoing development through training programs, coaching, and mentorship, empowering them to succeed and take ownership of their roles.
Border Foods invests in the well-being of its employees by offering competitive compensation with potential bonuses up to $20,000 annually, flexible scheduling, comprehensive education programs including GED and tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, and medical, dental, and vision benefits even for part-time team members. Additional perks include free food, paid vacation, sick and holiday pay, and the vacation donation program that underscores the company’s commitment to supporting its employees’ diverse needs.
This Assistant Manager position is based in Hartford, SD, and offers an exciting career path for those passionate about hospitality, leadership, and community impact.
