Job Description

Five Star Parks & Attractions is one of the fastest-growing family entertainment platforms in the United States, featuring a dynamic portfolio of eleven distinct brands encompassing twenty-seven parks across thirteen states. The company specializes in combining casual dining with high-energy entertainment, offering experiences such as adventure ziplines, go-karts, indoor coasters, bowling, laser tag, ropes courses, arcades, and mini golf. Each location operates with multi-revenue streams including full-service kitchens and bars, retail, redemption counters, party sales, and corporate events, creating complex, high-volume environments designed to deliver fun in a safe and clean setting.

As an Assistant General Manager at Five Star Parks, you will take on a critical leadership role that goes beyond traditional restaurant management. This position is ideal for seasoned casual dining operators aiming to elevate their career by managing a multifaceted entertainment venue. You'll be entrusted with full P&L ownership that spans food, beverage, attractions, games, retail, and events. Your leadership will directly impact the success of the park, whether by running the front of house and back of house teams, coordinating with party sales and redemption staff, managing vendor relationships, or ensuring impeccable guest experiences and operational standards.

This role requires hands-on engagement with a majority of your time spent on the floor managing service delivery, coaching staff, and optimizing operational flow. Assistant General Managers will also handle strategic forecasting, scheduling, inventory control across a variety of operational departments, and financial analysis to meet and exceed performance targets. With a focus on multi-unit growth, leadership development, and brand standard adherence, you will be part of a career path designed to propel you into higher executive roles such as General Manager, Regional Director or Vice President of Operations, and beyond.

Five Star Parks offers a vibrant culture akin to top casual dining brands like Olive Garden and Dave & Buster's, but with even more components to manage and a deeper focus on a family-oriented entertainment experience. The role demands high energy, calm under pressure, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety, cleanliness, and fun—the core promises of the brand. With competitive compensation packages including base salary plus performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits, this position combines a rewarding career trajectory with personal benefits like free play privileges and leadership training opportunities.

This is not a typical restaurant role; it is an unparalleled opportunity to lead a multi-revenue entertainment complex while developing your career within a fast-growing, private-equity-backed company. If you have a passion for operational excellence, building strong teams, and delivering memorable guest experiences, Five Star Parks & Attractions is ready to welcome you as an Assistant General Manager who can take the next step in your professional journey.
