Job Description

OneLife Fitness is a well-established health club company dedicated to providing members with a comprehensive wellness experience through high-quality fitness services and exceptional customer care. As a leading fitness organization, OneLife Fitness operates numerous clubs that cater to diverse memberships aiming to improve their health and wellbeing. The club focuses on creating an inviting and supportive atmosphere where members can achieve their fitness goals through access to state-of-the-art exercise equipment, various group fitness classes, personal training, and a friendly team of professionals committed to their success.

We are currently expanding and seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant General Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in leading membership growth and overseeing club operations. This full-time position offers a salary commensurate with experience and provides an excellent opportunity for career advancement within the fitness and hospitality industry.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the sales efforts of the membership team by coaching and inspiring the staff to achieve and surpass revenue targets. Your leadership will extend beyond sales, as you will support various club departments including front desk and housekeeping, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards throughout the facility. Partnering closely with the General Manager, you will help deliver a consistently outstanding member experience that reflects OneLife Fitness's commitment to health, safety, and service excellence.

This role requires a people-first leadership style with a passion for sales, team building, and operational management. You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing membership consultants and other departmental staff to create a strong, motivated team. In addition, you will oversee at least one department, managing scheduling, performance, hiring decisions, and disciplinary actions as necessary.

In your day-to-day, you will manage club operations hands-on, stepping in as Manager-on-Duty when required, and engaging directly with prospective members by hosting tours, converting leads, and ensuring proper onboarding processes are followed. Tracking sales leads, running detailed reports, and supporting club marketing and outreach initiatives will be a regular part of your responsibilities.

The position demands flexibility with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, reflecting the active and sometimes unpredictable nature of club operations. Your excellent communication, organizational abilities, and professional demeanor will play a critical role in maintaining the club's reputation and fostering a welcoming environment for both members and staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced sales and operations leader who is eager to grow with OneLife Fitness and contribute meaningfully to our mission of promoting health and wellness. Join us in delivering exceptional service in a vibrant, community-focused fitness environment where your leadership truly makes a difference.
