Job Description
Infinity Hotels is an independent franchisee that owns and operates this particular hotel property, distinctly separate from Marriott International, Inc. As a franchisee, Infinity Hotels independently manages all aspects of the hotel's operations and employment practices, including hiring, compensation, staffing, benefits, and employee discipline. This unique structure empowers Infinity Hotels to create tailored, localized management strategies to meet the expectations of both Marriott and property ownership. The franchisee relationship ensures that the property aligns with Marriott's renowned standards while allowing operational independence.
This role involves functioning as the primary strategic business leader of the property, bearing comprehensive responsibility for all facets of the hotel’s performance. The position embraces operational excellence, guest and employee satisfaction, human resource management, financial oversight, sales boosting, and delivering robust returns on investment. As the General Manager, you will be the driving force ensuring alignment with Marriott's brand strategies while also advancing the property's market share and profitability. By leading and holding the property leadership team accountable, you will foster a high-performing, motivated executive committee that prioritizes both brand values and business results.
Your duties will encompass verifying that Marriott brand service standards and initiatives are executed effectively to surpass guest expectations, improving property revenue through strategic sales efforts, and ensuring that the objectives of Marriott International and property owners work synergistically. Moreover, the position requires you to actively engage with the local community, building strong relationships with officials, businesses, and customers to enhance the hotel’s reputation and market presence. You will act as a committed brand champion, embodying and promoting Marriott Hotels & Resorts and JW brand values through leadership actions and management practices.
Core competencies essential for success in this role include Business Strategy Development and Execution, where you will keep abreast of industry trends, evaluate competitive strengths and weaknesses, explore and secure new business opportunities, and translate global brand strategies into property-specific plans. In Sales and Marketing, you will collaborate with sales teams to develop revenue-generating initiatives and ensure these strategies align with Marriott’s overarching goals.
Talent Management is critical; you will create a cohesive, dynamic management team by coaching, developing, and holding direct reports accountable. This includes workforce planning, succession development, and fostering a culture that supports learning and growth. Your leadership will ensure that work processes, systems, and teamwork are optimized for superior performance.
This full-time leadership position offers competitive compensation of approximately $85,000 and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401K, and bonus opportunities. Candidates should bring 3-5 years of Marriott leadership experience, preferably within a full-service hotel environment, to thrive and deliver value in this influential role. Infinity Hotels promotes equal employment opportunity, aiming to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
