This full-time, exempt management position demands a flexible schedule of up to 50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs and ensure business success during peak periods.\n\nThe managerial role involves assisting the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, and mentoring both hourly and exempt staff, while ensuring the team adheres to company policies and procedures. This position requires leading multiple hourly team members daily, fostering a productive, engaged, and motivated workforce. The manager will be tasked with maximizing employee retention through coaching and development, reinforcing company values, and participating actively in regional and corporate meetings and training programs.\n\nA critical aspect of the role is operational management including assigning work tasks, preparing schedules, and ensuring coverage. The manager plays a vital role in implementing company initiatives such as sales strategies and customer experience programs, while partnering with the General Manager on various projects, reporting, scheduling, and analytics to drive company goals. Responsibilities also extend to ensuring an optimal guest experience, overseeing in-seat dining service, managing safety and cleanliness standards, and proactively addressing guest feedback to improve satisfaction scores.\n\nThis position demands collaboration with technical staff such as the Regional Projectionist to handle film-related systems and maintenance issues. Additionally, the role includes financial responsibilities such as adhering to cash management processes and labor budget management for shift schedules. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years management experience in entertainment or restaurant
- full-service experience with knowledge of inventory and operations
- ServSafe certification
- Food Handlers certification
- Alcohol certification
- availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends
- ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, bend, and climb stairs frequently
- flexible schedule with up to 50 hours per week
- able to lift occasionally between 25-50 pounds with assistance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of management experience in high-volume entertainment or restaurant with strong emphasis on Food and Beverage

- ServSafe, Food Handlers, and Alcohol certification required

Job Duties
- Assists the General Manager in hiring hourly and exempt staff
- provides on-the-job training, feedback, and coaching sessions
- ensures employee adherence to company policies and procedures in partnership with HRBP
- supervise the day-to-day activities of multiple hourly staff members
- maximizes retention by conducting coaching and development sessions through engagement and feedback sessions
- enforce Cinepolis values to other employees
- attend and participate in Regional and Head office meetings and training
- assigns work tasks and activities, prepares weekly schedules through HotSchedules, and ensure all shifts are covered
- assists the General Manager with the implementation and follow-through on company initiatives
- partner with the General Manager with various projects, reports, scheduling, and analytics to achieve company goals and monitor processes
- conducts daily pre-shift Take One meetings and delivers team sales goals and current promotions
- manages and supervises the In-Seat Dining process and guest experience
- partner with the Regional Projectionist on film ingestion, maintenance, transferring, building of playlist in the LMS, and resolving any system issues
- ensures a safe clean environment for employees and guests
- practice proactive guest management by following empowerment policy and recognizing opportunities
- assists with implementing SMART plans based on guest feedback for Met Promoter Scores and guest satisfaction
- proactively addresses guest service complaints and feedback
- ensures sales and revenue maximizations by managing selling techniques and sales audits
- assists with employee scheduling according to labor budgets and business needs
- responsible for following company financial and cash management processes and policies
- perform other duties as assigned
