Onelife Fitness is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and community engagement, which is reflected in its operational standards and customer-centric approach.
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting membership growth and overseeing daily club operations. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coaching the membership team to drive sales performance and exceed revenue targets while supporting various club departments such as front desk and housekeeping. This leadership role requires a people-first mindset, a passion for sales and operations, and the ability to build and develop exceptional teams.
The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to deliver an outstanding member experience every day, ensuring high standards for member service, safety, and overall club appearance. Key responsibilities include managing scheduling, performance, hiring, and discipline within at least one department, stepping in as Manager-on-Duty when necessary, and actively participating in outreach and marketing efforts to sustain and expand the club's membership base. This role demands flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to align with club operational hours and member needs.
Candidates for this position should possess strong communication and leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a professional yet approachable presence. Experience in sales coaching and staff development is essential to successfully recruit, hire, train, and mentor membership consultants and other club staff members. Familiarity with basic computer systems, including MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) or sales tracking tools, is also required. The position offers attractive benefits such as complimentary club membership with guest privileges, discounts on training and spa services, employee referral bonuses, and comprehensive insurance plans including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
Onelife Fitness is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to providing an inclusive workplace that respects the rights of all individuals, including veterans and persons with disabilities.
