We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team. This full-time position is pivotal in leading membership growth and ensuring smooth day-to-day club operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the General Manager to deliver an outstanding member experience while supporting various club departments such as front desk and housekeeping. You will be responsible for coaching and inspiring the membership team, driving sales to exceed revenue targets, and maintaining high standards of safety and service. This role demands a versatile leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong sales and operational skills, and values a people-first approach. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • preferred bachelor’s degree in exercise science, business, or related field
  • 2+ years sales or management experience
  • strong selling and coaching skills
  • excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • comfortable using basic computer systems such as MS Office and CRM/sales tracking

Job Duties

  • Lead and coach the membership team to drive sales and exceed revenue goals
  • recruit, hire, train, and develop membership consultants and departmental staff
  • manage daily club operations and step in as Manager-on-Duty when needed
  • oversee at least one department including scheduling, performance, hiring, and discipline
  • host tours, convert prospects, and ensure accurate onboarding and paperwork
  • track leads, run reports, and support club marketing and outreach
  • maintain high standards for member service, safety, and club appearance
  • work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
