The position available is for an Assistant General Manager at Wendy's, one of WKS Restaurant Group’s franchise locations. The Assistant General Manager plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations and workforce management of the Wendy’s restaurant. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of executing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems efficiently. Ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local laws along with maintaining the highest standard of ethical business practices forms a core responsibility. The Assistant General Manager is also instrumental in achieving the restaurant’s operational objectives by supporting the General Manager with staff organization, training, and motivation.

Job Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Attend Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • Must be Serve-Safe certified

Job Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and compute rates, ratios, and percentages
  • Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Attend Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days
  • Must be Serve-Safe certified
