The current opportunity is to join the team as an Assistant Manager at one of Wendy's franchise locations operated by WKS Restaurant Group. In this pivotal role, the Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations and staff management of the Wendy's restaurant. This position plays an instrumental part in implementing company policies, procedures, programs, and systems to ensure smooth and compliant store operations. As an Assistant Manager, you will contribute directly to the achievement of store objectives aligned with Wendy's business goals while adhering to all company guidelines and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
This is a hands-on management role that involves supervising team members, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring high standards of employee training and development, and maintaining operational excellence. You will be expected to uphold ethical business practices and ensure compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards at all times. Job Qualifications
- one year certificate from college or technical school
- three to six months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- effective verbal communication skills
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Serve-Safe certification
- completion of Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
