Job Description

Wendy's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its quality ingredients and exceptional customer service. Established decades ago, Wendy's has cemented its place in the quick-service restaurant industry by focusing on fresh, never frozen beef, and a diverse menu catering to a wide audience. With thousands of locations around the world, Wendy's prides itself on its dedication to innovation, community involvement, and providing a satisfying dining experience for its customers. The franchise model allows for independently owned and operated restaurants, facilitating local engagement and tailored management approaches while maintaining the brand’s high standards.

The role of Restaurant Manager at Wendy's is vital to the success of each location. Restaurant Managers are integral members of the leadership and management team, responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving the restaurant toward its business goals. This position requires high energy, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The Restaurant Manager ensures that customer expectations are not only met but consistently exceeded by providing clear direction, training, and leadership to all staff members during their shifts. Through skillful management, the Restaurant Manager helps run a million-dollar business, emphasizing operational excellence, efficiency, and profitability.

Managers are expected to foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere while developing the abilities of Crew and Shift Supervisors, building bench strength for future leadership roles within the restaurant. This role demands an individual capable of understanding the right way to conduct business and inspiring their team to adhere to those standards. Beyond operational duties, the Restaurant Manager plays a critical role in recruiting, training, and mentoring employees, ensuring that the culture of excellence and customer service remains at the forefront.

Wendy’s offers a supportive environment with first-class compensation and benefits. Employees can expect comprehensive training, including certified professional training programs designed to enhance skills and career growth. This commitment to professional development is paired with a world-class culture that values teamwork and innovation. Additional benefits include a bonus program, 401(k) plans with matching contributions, dental insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, health insurance options, life insurance, and vision insurance. Together, these benefits provide a well-rounded and competitive package to support the well-being and financial security of the Restaurant Manager.

The nature of this position involves flexibility, with the requirement to work around 50 hours per week, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. This flexibility is crucial to managing the operational demands of a fast-service restaurant. Candidates must consent to background screenings, including criminal, driving, and drug checks, to ensure a safe and reliable work environment.

This opportunity lies with one of Wendy's many franchisees. Each franchise is independently owned and operated, which means compensation, benefits, and career growth programs can vary by location. Prospective managers should be prepared to thrive in an independent business environment while leveraging Wendy's brand strength and support systems. This specific position is located at 830 E. Lewis and Clark Pkwy, Clarksville, IN 47129.
