As an Assistant General Manager at Wendy's, you are entrusted with the vital responsibility of providing leadership, supervision, and direction in line with strategic initiatives and operating standards. Supporting the General Manager, you will be instrumental in driving customer service excellence, ensuring consistent training and development of the restaurant team, and fostering a collaborative work environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire the crew and promote Wendy's core values daily, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere that enhances both employee satisfaction and customer experience. The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in sales and profit growth, taking accountability for results while leading by example in all operational areas.

The position offers comprehensive benefits including a bonus plan, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, an employee referral program, and medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility commencing the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, a 401K plan with company match is available, and enrollment can begin immediately upon hire. The job demands commitment to working a 40-hour workweek plus up to 10 hours of overtime, with flexibility to cover evening and weekend shifts. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various activities requiring manual dexterity and mobility.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with some restaurant or related experience preferred. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to interpret procedural manuals, safety guidelines, and to produce routine reports. Mathematical aptitude for handling basic calculations and reasoning skills to solve practical problems are also necessary. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required as the role occasionally involves driving for company errands and training sessions.

This opportunity is ideal for those enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced team environment who are ready to take on leadership challenges and help propel Wendy's franchise to new levels of success.
