The Assistant General Manager role at Ajayi Hospitality Group represents a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years relevant management or supervisory experience
- Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills including English proficiency
- Ability to work flexible and variable hours
- Capacity to perform physical and managerial duties concurrently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage the restaurant operations from production to guest service areas
- Direct the work of team members including managers and crew
- Assist General Manager to meet restaurant performance expectations
- Coach and role model guest and service experience behaviors
- Recruit, interview, onboard and train managers and crew
- Provide performance feedback and evaluations
- Prepare schedules ensuring legal compliance and operational needs
- Manage inventory levels and prepare forecasts and ordering recommendations
- Ensure food safety compliance
- Perform maintenance and cleanliness oversight
- Monitor legal compliance in the restaurant
- Appraise team members productivity and recommend status changes
- Work with team members in restaurant operations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
