Job Description
About Taco Bell Franchisee:
You are applying to work with a franchisee of Taco Bell, not Taco Bell Corporation or any of its affiliates. A franchisee is an independent business owner who operates their own Taco Bell restaurant and is responsible for setting the wage and benefit programs for their employees. These programs may vary between franchisees, which means that if you are hired, the franchisee will be your sole employer and your employment conditions will depend directly on the franchisee's policies. This opportunity offers the chance to become part of a well-known and respected global fast-food brand that specializes in Mexican-inspired quick service food.
Taco Bell is internationally recognized for its innovative menu items, commitment to quality, and vibrant brand personality. Working for a Taco Bell franchisee provides a unique experience for employees to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced eating establishment and learn valuable skills that are transferable across multiple career paths. Taco Bell places strong emphasis on operational excellence and delivering customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality.
About the Assistant General Manager Role: The Assistant General Manager at a Taco Bell franchise plays a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining a high-functioning restaurant operation. This leadership position requires a proactive and positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering the Taco Bell brand promise through operational excellence. The Assistant General Manager will run leading work shifts, ensuring all teams perform their duties efficiently and effectively while meeting Taco Bell standards.
Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, ensuring safe food handling practices, upholding financial accountability and profit and loss responsibilities, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. The Assistant General Manager will take ownership of solving problems with enthusiasm, guide and mentor shift managers and team members, and be hands-on by actively participating in restaurant operations, including cleaning and maintenance duties.
This is a role that offers significant opportunity for professional growth and career development, especially for individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to achieving excellence. It is a great fit for aspiring leaders who want to gain experience in managing a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and build a rewarding career in the restaurant industry. The position requires one to three years of supervisory experience preferably within food service or retail, and offers the chance to work with a supportive team in a successful franchise operation.
Being an Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell is not just about managing a shift; it is about being part of a winning team, embracing Taco Bell's values, and contributing to the success of the franchise. If you are passionate about food service, customer satisfaction, and leadership development, this role provides a fantastic platform to learn, grow and succeed in the vibrant world of quick-service restaurant management.
