Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience or combined experience and education
- experience with sales building, profit and loss statements, recruiting, and training
- proven track record of successful hiring and retention
- ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays
- ServeSafe certified
- must be at least 18 years old
- valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Reinforce Border Foods core values during all restaurant operations
- guide team members and shift leaders to complete assigned duties and maintain high food safety and quality standards
- schedule and deploy team members effectively while monitoring performance
- ensure fast and friendly customer service
- maintain point of sale system and report any failures
- ensure health and safety standards compliance
- uphold local, state, and federal laws and guidelines
- build team unity and resolve employee issues promptly
- create a safe and welcoming environment for staff and customers
- handle customer complaints with professionalism and effective solutions
- develop strategic plans for restaurant success
- interpret profit and loss statements for financial decision making
- source, hire, and train new team members
- conduct new hire orientation and implement training plans
- minimize loss through strict adherence to cash handling, accounting, and banking policies
- manage labor control, inventory, and waste efficiently
- build team capabilities through coaching and providing learning and development opportunities
- provide timely guidance and coaching to team members
