Job Description
Ci Siamo is an innovative restaurant established by Danny Meyer’s esteemed Union Square Hospitality Group and renowned James Beard semifinalist Chef Hillary Sterling. Located at Manhattan West, Ci Siamo has been recognized as a New York Times Top 100 restaurant and is celebrated for its dedication to live-fire cooking and an Italian-inflected menu influenced by Chef Sterling’s vast culinary travels. This exceptional dining establishment emphasizes the beauty of simplicity and the use of seasonal ingredients, crafted with purposeful preparations. "Ci Siamo," which translates loosely to "we've made it" or "we've arrived," reflects the restaurant's mission to bridge traditional flavors with contemporary techniques, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously transportive and warmly familiar.
Building upon the success of its original location in New York, Ci Siamo is expanding to Boston with a new waterfront venue at Commonwealth Pier in the vibrant Seaport neighborhood. The Boston location promises to capture the same dynamic spirit and commitment to culinary excellence that has made the New York restaurant a standout destination for food enthusiasts. As part of this exciting opening, Ci Siamo is assembling a talented team to deliver outstanding service and memorable experiences to its guests.
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) role at Ci Siamo represents a crucial leadership position within the service team, serving as a trusted partner to the General Manager. The AGM's primary responsibility is overseeing all facets of the Dining Room and service operations, ensuring that guests receive consistent and exceptional hospitality. This leadership role requires a passion for service excellence, a collaborative spirit, and strong business acumen to help meet and exceed organizational goals. The AGM works closely with Service Managers and team members to cultivate a culture of Enlightened Hospitality, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace that encourages professional growth and memorable customer interactions.
This full-time leadership position offers an annual compensation package ranging from $85,000 to $95,000 plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Additional benefits include comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development. The Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence while fostering a supportive environment where team members can thrive. Join Ci Siamo’s team and become part of a hospitality culture rooted in care, creativity, and continuous growth.
