Job Description

Wendy's is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain known for its commitment to quality, freshness, and friendly customer service. Established as a leading brand in the quick-service restaurant industry, Wendy's prides itself on delivering delicious, made-to-order meals in a welcoming environment. With its widespread presence and reputation for excellence, Wendy's continues to expand and uphold its core values of hospitality, innovation, and community engagement. This particular job opportunity is with a Wendy's franchisee located in Colorado Springs, CO, at 5810 Palmer Park Blvd. As an independently owned franchise, this location offers a unique environment to grow your career within a supportive and dynamic team.

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Wendy's, you will play a vital role in the overall success of the restaurant. The AGM provides leadership, supervision, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards that positively influence business outcomes. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving customer service excellence, training and developing staff, fostering sales and profit growth, and implementing accountability measures across the entire team. This role requires a hands-on approach to create an inviting and fun work environment where the team is motivated and aligned with Wendy's core values. The AGM position offers a salary of $54,500 and the opportunity for career growth as Wendy's values internal development and promotes from within.

The Assistant General Manager is expected to motivate and build a cohesive team, ensuring consistent delivery of superior service to customers. You will be managing daily operations, overseeing training programs, and driving sales strategies designed to meet or exceed financial targets. The role includes significant responsibilities related to employee engagement, fostering a culture of recognition, and continuous improvement. The company is committed to providing its AGMs with resources for professional growth, including a comprehensive benefits package, bonus plans, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, as well as 401K plans with company matching. These benefits become effective shortly after hire, emphasizing Wendy’s dedication to employee well-being and future security.

Moreover, the position demands physical stamina and adaptability to handle the fast-paced nature of the restaurant industry. Responsible for up to 40 regular hours plus 10 hours of overtime weekly, the Assistant General Manager must be willing to work evening and weekend shifts and possess reliable transportation alongside a valid driver’s license. This role occasionally requires driving for business-related errands and requires adherence to safety and operational procedures. If you are a motivated, career-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, Wendy’s offers a rewarding platform to elevate your leadership career while contributing to a beloved brand.
