This role is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable national brand through one of its successful franchisees. The position offers the chance to work as an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at the 715 W 28th St location in Houston, TX. This role is pivotal in supporting the General Manager to efficiently run the restaurant's daily operations in a high-volume, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will bring at least one year of AGM experience in fast-food or similar restaurant concepts and be prepared to lead work teams with a strong focus on customer service and operational goals.

The Assistant General Manager will engage in everything from staff management, hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching to enforcing safety and food quality standards. This role also involves administrative duties such as managing financial controls, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and setting a positive tone to support a family-friendly and fun atmosphere for both staff and customers. Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays (with Thanksgiving and Christmas off), are expected, supporting a balanced but committed schedule typical of the restaurant industry.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and access to private transportation
  • Consent to background screening
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week including rotating shifts
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year assistant manager experience in high volume food service concepts preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license in good standing

Job Duties

  • Oversee restaurant's daily operations
