The role of Assistant General Manager (AGM) at WenJAI Restaurant Group is integral to the leadership and management team of each restaurant. The AGM provides essential direction, training, and expertise necessary to exceed customer expectations and ensure each shift meets its business objectives. AGMs help run a million-dollar business with high energy and high standards, fostering a team atmosphere and helping to build bench strength by developing successful crew and shift supervisors. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for maintaining daily operations in cooperation with the General Manager, ensuring full compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local laws, and upholding ethical business practices.
A key aspect of this position is participating in recruiting, selecting, and training team members and helping to create an engaged and motivated workforce. Efficient communication and teamwork with all store staff including the General Manager, other Restaurant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Crew Members is critical for success.
