WenJAI Restaurant Group is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for one of its franchise locations at 9150 Viscount, El Paso, TX 79925. The Assistant General Manager is a vital part of the restaurant’s leadership and management team, responsible for guiding the team to exceed customer expectations consistently. This role demands a high-energy and high-standard approach to managing a million-dollar business, where the AGM leads by example and drives operational success. The position involves assisting the General Manager in maintaining daily restaurant operations, executing company policies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and ethical business practices.
The Assistant General Manager plays a key role in building bench strength by developing successful Crew and Shift Supervisors while maintaining a positive team atmosphere within the restaurant. They participate actively in the achievement of store objectives, including hiring, recommending, selecting, and training staff members. Effective communication with the entire store team, including the General Manager and other restaurant personnel, is critical to fostering an engaged and motivated work environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant or retail management preferred
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills
