Job Description

Wendy's is one of the world's most recognized and beloved fast-food restaurant chains, known for its commitment to quality, fresh ingredients, and outstanding customer service. Operating in a competitive food service industry, Wendy's prides itself on delivering a welcoming atmosphere where guests receive not just great food but also exceptional service. As a fast-food franchise, Wendy's provides numerous career opportunities, particularly through its franchisees who independently manage locations across diverse regions.

This particular role is for an Assistant General Manager position at a Wendy's location situated at 1405 W. Elizabeth St, Fort Collins, CO 80521. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a pivotal role within the restaurant, functioning as a key leader responsible for supporting the General Manager in all facets of store operations. This position is full-time and offers an annual salary range starting from $55,000 up to $70,000, reflective of experience and performance.

The AGM is expected to leverage their knowledge of operational skills, customer service, health and safety protocols, and team management to ensure each guest has a "WOW" experience every time they visit. By promoting and maintaining a culture of engagement and motivation among crew members, the Assistant General Manager helps foster a dynamic, friendly, and productive workplace. The role demands collaboration, effective communication, problem-solving, and decisiveness, supporting the overarching aim of surpassing customer expectations and delivering "A Cut Above" experience.

Further, Wendy's invests in its Assistant General Managers by providing clear and structured career development paths marked by comprehensive training programs. This commitment equips AGMs with tools and knowledge required not only to succeed in their current role but also to grow professionally within the company. Benefits such as medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, paid time off, quarterly bonus potential, and on-demand pay further emphasize the brand's dedication to employee well-being and satisfaction.

Wendy's is a proud equal opportunity employer, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds, including all races, religions, nationalities, genders, and the LGBTQ+ community, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. Each franchise may have unique policies regarding compensation and benefits, but the foundational standards of quality, safety, and excellent customer service remain consistent. Working as an Assistant General Manager at Wendy’s is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced, friendly, team-oriented environment and are eager to take on leadership responsibilities that shape the dining experience and work culture every day.
