The opportunity at Wendy's provides an exciting role as an Assistant Manager, working closely with the General Manager to effectively manage the operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant. The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. This role is critical in achieving store objectives while adhering to the company's guidelines and upholding ethical business practices. The position demands an individual who is proactive, organized, and capable of supervising a diverse team of employees to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace. This role offers hands-on experience in restaurant management within one of the nation’s most recognizable fast-food brands and provides candidates with the opportunity to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment focused on customer satisfaction and team collaboration. The compensation and benefits package is determined by the respective franchise owner and may vary; however, there are opportunities to receive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance along with 401k benefits and paid vacation, reflecting a commitment to employee well-being and retention.

Job Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to solve practical problems dealing with concrete variables
  • ability to interpret a variety of instructions
  • must attend Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • must be Serve-Safe Certified

Job Qualifications
