Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure
- Must be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns
- Must be able to work with and understand financial data and basic arithmetic
- Must be attentive to detail and meet deadlines
- Must be proficient in Windows OS and company-approved software
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must lead team members to provide friendly service
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry experience preferred

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay
- Use guests' names whenever possible
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- Support hotel events and groups
- Understand and use relevant technology for the role
- Answer calls with friendly, approved greetings
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces
- Greet guests with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy
- Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles
- Collaborate to create a welcoming environment
- Conduct daily walks inspecting guest rooms and public spaces
- Provide one-on-one training to new team members
- Supervise guest service team members during peak periods
- Foster a culture of happy team members and guests
- Assist with inventory counts as instructed
- Support onboarding of new team members
- Review and manage team member time clock punches
- Complete daily summary and night audit processes
- Manage purchase orders and ensure approved vendor use
- Process invoices correctly and timely
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and quality assurance
- Certify fire and life safety inspections are up to date
- Escalate service or delivery failures properly
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed
- Ensure team member adherence to work schedules
- Cover open department head positions as needed
