The role of Assistant General Manager at McDonald’s is a critical leadership position that contributes directly to the success of the restaurant. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the restaurant’s internal operations, with significant responsibility for leading employee training, enforcing food safety practices, and overseeing inventory management. You will be results-oriented, delegating tasks efficiently to team members and ensuring clear reporting on operations and progress. Supporting the General Manager directly, you will help achieve performance and quality targets in three key areas: Kitchen, People, and Service.
In the Kitchen area, you will supervise food quality, safety, cost control, and the introduction of new menu items ensuring that all food served meets McDonald’s rigorous standards. In the People area, you will take charge of hiring, training, and scheduling restaurant staff, focusing on achieving sales and profit goals by fostering a motivated and capable workforce. On the Service front, you will ensure that the guest experience is memorable by training staff thoroughly and organizing the service areas within the restaurant to provide outstanding customer service.

Job Requirements
- HSD or GED preferred
- One plus years experience leading, motivating and or developing others or US military service
- A passion for helping and serving others including customers and fellow team members
- A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace
- Strong customer service and support focus
- Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
- Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

- Supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items in the kitchen

- Deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring all staff is trained and organizing key service areas to provide the best service
- Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant
