The Apprentice role at Chipotle offers an exceptional opportunity for growth within a fast-moving and dynamic restaurant environment. As Chipotle rapidly expands, opening nearly one new restaurant daily, the company is seeking passionate and driven individuals ready to join their leadership team and grow into General Managers. Apprentices gain critical hands-on experience by assisting in the day-to-day operations of Chipotle restaurants, learning essential skills such as hiring and training staff, managing schedules, ensuring high standards for guest experience, and maintaining compliance with food safety and operational procedures. The position requires a genuine enthusiasm for people development, a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality, and a strong desire to learn the intricacies of operating a restaurant business. Job Requirements

  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk around the restaurant for 10 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 50lbs./25kgs.
  • Ability to work varied temperatures

  • Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
  • Willingness to work a 50-hour workweek including overtime

Job Duties

  • Be guest obsessed - uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
  • Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest experience
  • Train and develop crew members utilizing Chipotle's training tools and resources
  • Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • Learn to run the day-to-day operational business of your restaurant (creating and managing a schedule, P&L management, sales-forecasting, recruiting and interviewing)
  • Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is always guest-ready
  • Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
  • Work a standard 50-hour workweek (with applicable overtime paid), including evening and weekend shifts
