The Assistant General Manager (AGM) role at McDonald's is a vital position within the restaurant's operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience or military service
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and excellence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to make decisions quickly
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively

Job Qualifications

  • HSD or GED preferred
  • A passion for helping and serving others
  • 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others OR US Military Service
  • Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace
  • Strong customer service and support focus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
  • Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Lead important internal functions including employee training, food safety, and inventory management
  • Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
  • Support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards
  • Supervise kitchen operations including food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items
  • Hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals
