Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior management experience in a restaurant or bar setting
  • excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • strong communication abilities
  • proficiency in cash handling and financial management
  • ability to recruit, train, and develop staff
  • up-to-date knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • valid certifications for food safety and alcohol service
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • commitment to upholding company policies and standards
  • professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • Must have substantial leadership experience in high-volume restaurants and/or bars
  • ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions
  • ability to handle quickly changing situations with many variables
  • mathematical skills to compute change, perform accurate employee checkouts, and manage cash handling
  • successful completion of required training including food and alcohol service certifications
  • effective communication skills in English
  • Spanish skills are advantageous
  • ability to obtain or maintain government-required licenses such as ServSafe Food Manager and ServSafe Alcohol

Job Duties

  • Effectively teach, motivate, coach and discipline staff, the HOH, and Twin Peaks Girls
  • be proficient with interviewing, warning, counseling, hiring and firing employees, ensuring proper documentation and communication with senior management
  • ensure cash handling procedures are followed
  • seek development from Assistant General Manager and General Manager
  • proactively recruit as needed
  • hold kitchen staff accountable to standards, ticket times, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • handle volume and stress with composure and finesse
  • uphold company standards and expectations
  • manage issues of alleged discrimination or harassment with proper protocols
  • maintain a professional and respectful work environment
  • drive sales in collaboration with management and team members
  • coach and counsel team members effectively
  • maintain organized and updated training schedules, programs, and materials
  • practice sound inventory control
  • control PNL, COGS, bar, food and labor costs with leadership follow-up
  • dress and act professionally
  • oversee HOH and FOH productivity
  • enforce safety, sanitation, maintenance and regulatory compliance in kitchen areas
  • review schedules weekly and manage staffing
  • maintain audit readiness daily
  • manage invoice processing
  • ensure asset protection and security
  • stay within compliance for Peaks Point Training
  • ensure proper state food certificates and alcohol certifications are up to date
  • ensure responsible alcohol service
  • apply mathematical skills for financial management
  • maintain uniform standards
  • ensure overall restaurant organization and cleanliness
  • manage repair and maintenance programs
  • keep employee files with proper documentation
  • ensure operational basics and standards are adhered to with total commitment
