As an Assistant General Manager at WenJAI Restaurant Group, you will play a crucial role in the leadership and management team of the restaurant, ensuring that each shift surpasses customers' expectations and achieves business objectives. This role involves high energy and adherence to the highest standards, helping to operate a million-dollar business efficiently. You will guide the team in understanding and executing business practices correctly while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment. Your efforts will contribute to building and developing a strong bench of Crew and Shift Supervisors to support sustained business success.

Your responsibilities will encompass assisting the General Manager in managing day-to-day restaurant operations and staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws, and participating in the recruitment, selection, and training of Shift Supervisors and Crew Members. You will cultivate an engaged workforce by creating and maintaining a positive and productive restaurant culture. Effective communication across all levels of the restaurant team is vital, requiring close collaboration with the General Manager and other restaurant leaders.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or similar environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Commitment to upholding company values
  • Ability to comply with all laws and regulations related to the position

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in restaurant management preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
