Job Description

This established restaurant chain has built its reputation on serving the highest quality all-natural premium tenderloins, prepared using a time-tested southern-style buttermilk marinade and hand-breaded fresh with every order. Founded in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the first store opened in 2003 and over the years the brand has grown steadily, crossing state lines within six years, launching its first franchise four years later, expanding internationally, and celebrating its 100th store in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2019. This growth showcases the company's commitment to maintaining its original mission and values while expanding its presence and customer base. The restaurant prides itself on offering exceptional quality food paired with outstanding guest service, aiming to stay true to its roots and its loyal customers.

The Assistant Manager role at this restaurant is a crucial leadership position focused on managing the daily operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience. As the second in command after the General Manager, the Assistant Manager oversees the daily activities of Shift Leaders and hourly staff, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered and staff adhere to company policies and food safety regulations. This role demands a hands-on approach in both operational and people management aspects. The Assistant Manager is responsible for staff recruitment, training, performance management, and development, acting as a coach and mentor to build a professional and efficient team.

In this role, you will manage inventory levels, reconcile cash registers, maintain records to meet company and legal standards, and ensure strict compliance with safety and sanitation procedures. The position requires a proactive leader who can maintain high standards of quality food, service, and cleanliness while fostering a positive work environment. You will also lead by example with a professional appearance and positive attitude, communicating effectively with the General Manager, team members, guests, and vendors. The ability to handle employee relations and provide conflict resolution is key to maintaining a motivated and productive staff.

This is a flexible role requiring availability for extended and varied hours, including standing and walking throughout shifts to oversee operations actively. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of restaurant management experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, proficiency in math and computers, and a friendly yet professional demeanor. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a well-established and respected restaurant brand that values its employees and consistently delivers quality food and excellent customer service. Join a company proud of its heritage and enthusiastic about its future expansion and success.
