The company prides itself on creating workplaces where individuals can bring their authentic selves to work, supported by comprehensive health and wellness programs, outstanding learning and development opportunities, and exclusive travel discounts. Crescent Hotels & Resorts emphasizes a strong sense of community and career progression within its dynamic team, offering competitive compensation packages and robust benefits for its employees and their families.
The Assistant General Manager role at the REMI, Autograph Collection Hotel, offers an exciting opportunity to join one of Crescent's premier properties located in the vibrant Entertainment District of downtown Scottsdale. This 161-room boutique hotel perfectly blends classic western elements with a bold modern aesthetic to redefine the desert experience. The property boasts five diverse food and beverage venues, from a nostalgic 1940's inspired café to a captivating Miami-style rooftop pool deck and bar influenced by Moroccan orange groves. As Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role overseeing the hotel’s daily operations with a strong focus on maintaining quality standards, exceptional guest service, and operational profitability. You will have direct responsibility for the Rooms Division, including oversight of housekeeping, front office, concierge, and guest services, managing budgets, forecasting, training, and motivating staff to ensure compliance with Crescent standards and policies.
This full-time position invites an experienced hospitality professional to administer and elevate the guest experience by implementing effective problem resolution and service recovery strategies. It involves leading department managers, facilitating communication across teams, recruiting and developing talent, and stepping in as acting General Manager when necessary. You will be expected to manage daily quality processes, monitor guest satisfaction metrics, and orchestrate staff scheduling to accommodate hotel occupancy fluctuations. This role requires a keen ability to handle guest complaints tactfully while promoting a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, you will work closely with the General Manager to formulate and supervise hotel policies, ensuring consistency and profitability. The hotel values individuals with Marriott brand experience and a deep knowledge of upscale full-service hotel operations.

The company offers excellent compensation, eligibility for an operational incentive plan, comprehensive benefits, a 401K matching program, and exclusive discounts both at Crescent managed properties in North America and Marriott properties worldwide.
