Job Description

Wendy's is a renowned global fast-food restaurant chain recognized for its commitment to quality, fresh ingredients, and exceptional customer service. Established in 1969, Wendy's has grown to become one of the world's largest and most popular quick-service restaurants, celebrated for its distinctive square-shaped burgers, variety of menu options, and vibrant dining experience. With thousands of locations across the United States and internationally, Wendy's continues to innovate and uphold its brand values prioritizing customer satisfaction and employee development.

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Wendy's, you will be stepping into a leadership role that balances strategic oversight with hands-on operational management. This opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals looking to advance their careers in the fast-paced food service industry. The AGM works closely with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly — from delivering excellent customer service and maintaining quality standards to driving sales growth and managing team dynamics. With a competitive salary of $57,250, this position offers both financial rewards and valuable experience in restaurant management.

Your primary role will involve supervising team members, providing training and development opportunities, and enforcing operational policies to maximize efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel motivated and valued. The ideal candidate is someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for leadership, and a proven ability to work collaboratively to achieve business goals.

This leadership role demands a hands-on approach to management, from handling customer concerns to conducting inventory checks and ensuring safety standards are met. The Assistant General Manager must also be adept at interpreting financial data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and contribute to the restaurant's success. In addition to operational responsibilities, this position offers opportunities for career growth within Wendy's, recognized through a performance-based bonus plan and comprehensive benefits package.

Wendy’s supports its AGMs with an array of benefits designed to promote well-being and work-life balance, including medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility shortly after employment, a 401(k) plan with company match available upon hire, paid time off, and an employee referral program. Whether you are seeking a dynamic team environment or a career path with room for advancement, Wendy's provides the tools and support you need to thrive.

Overall, the Assistant General Manager serves a critical role in maintaining Wendy's reputation for quality and exceptional service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a welcoming experience, and that the restaurant operates as a profitable and efficient business. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about the food and hospitality industry to grow their careers with a well-established and respected brand.
