This particular opportunity is for the role of Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM), an essential leadership position within one of their very successful, high-volume fast-food locations. The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in supporting daily restaurant operations under the direction of the General Manager. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service and achieving business goals, the AGM helps oversee all aspects of the restaurant's functioning, from staffing and scheduling to financial controls and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of one year of experience in an assistant management role within fast food or similar restaurant concepts. The role demands flexibility to work extended hours including weekends and holidays, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere for team members. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year assistant manager experience
- Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license in good standing and access to private transportation
- Consent to background screening
- Able to walk and stand for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Oversee restaurant's daily operations
- Maintain day-to-day financial controls
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Interview, hire, train and orientate team
- Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations
- Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
- Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
- Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant
