Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a prominent multi-brand restaurant company known for its strong growth and commitment to employee development. Founded in 2012 with a modest portfolio of 30 Taco Bell units, the company has expanded rapidly and now operates over 240 restaurants across multiple states including California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and Alaska. DRG specializes in managing Taco Bell and Arby's franchises, representing more than 6,000 team members who contribute to the company's success. The company prides itself on fostering a family-like atmosphere despite its size, emphasizing a people-first culture and living by core values of respect, integrity, passion, accountability, commitment, and teamwork.\n\nAs an Assistant Manager within DRG, you will play a vital role in supporting the restaurant and General Manager by overseeing operations during shifts and assisting with administrative responsibilities. This position requires a dynamic individual who can provide strong leadership and clear communication, ensuring that restaurant standards are consistently met. You will be responsible for managing shift teams, including supervising team members and Shift Managers to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service. Your role also includes ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, facilitating team member training, and participating in hiring and onboarding processes. Assistant Managers act as the General Manager's right hand and step in to lead the restaurant effectively in their absence. The position demands excellent organizational skills, confidence in decision-making, and ability to problem solve efficiently. Communication is key, as is the ability to develop future leaders within the team.\n\nThis role offers a starting pay range of $16.38 to $19 per hour, dependent upon experience and availability, reflecting the company's recognition of the value assistant managers bring. The position expects an average 50-hour work week and requires open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs effectively. Additionally, DRG provides a comprehensive benefits package featuring programs like DRG Cares Grant Program, Employee Assistance, scholarship opportunities, education benefits, and a unique DailyPay program enabling employees to access paychecks daily. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, desires growth, and wants to be part of a company that regards employees as family while delivering top-tier service and operational excellence.
