Job Description

Wendy's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its fresh, quality ingredients and customer-focused service. Established in 1969, Wendy's has grown into one of the largest hamburger fast-food chains in the world. The company prides itself on its commitment to quality, innovation, and community involvement, offering a variety of menu options and emphasizing a fun and dynamic dining experience. Wendy's operates thousands of restaurants across the globe, employing a vast workforce dedicated to upholding the brand's core values of friendliness, integrity, and excellence.

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Wendy's, you will play a critical leadership role within the restaurant team. The AGM is responsible for providing supervision, strategic guidance, and operational direction to ensure the restaurant achieves its business goals. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing team performance, driving sales and profit growth, and maintaining high standards for customer service and operational excellence. Working closely with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager supports all aspects of restaurant operations, including training and staff development, compliance with company standards, and fostering a positive work environment.

In this dynamic position, you will be accountable for creating a fun and inviting atmosphere both for employees and customers, modeling Wendy's core values daily, and inspiring your team to deliver superior service. This opportunity is ideal for career-driven individuals passionate about leadership, restaurant management, and personal growth. The role offers access to a variety of benefits such as a bonus plan, paid time off, employee referral programs, medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility shortly after employment, as well as a 401K plan with company matching.

Wendy's values motivated, personable leaders who are eager to build cohesive teams, increase profits, and continuously elevate the customer experience. The Assistant General Manager role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and practical hands-on management experience. You will be expected to navigate everyday challenges inherent in fast-food restaurant operations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to company policies. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments and have a dedication to excellence, Wendy's offers a supportive platform for you to advance your hospitality career and achieve your professional goals.
