This opportunity invites motivated individuals to join our team as a Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM). This position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of one year of AGM experience in fast food or restaurant concepts who are looking to advance their careers within a nationally recognized brand. The Restaurant Assistant General Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager by overseeing daily operations, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance, and fostering a positive team atmosphere that aligns with Wendy's fun and family-friendly culture. This role involves managing scheduling, hiring, training, and team development while working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Job Requirements

  • Min 1 year assistant manager experience
  • flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • valid driver's license in good standing and access to private transportation
  • consent to background screening
  • high school diploma or equivalent and possess all documents required by state and federal law
  • able to walk and stand for long periods
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • excellent problem solving and decision-making skills and customer service focused

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee restaurant's daily operations
  • maintain day-to-day financial controls
  • create and manage staff schedules
  • interview, hire, train and orientate team
  • oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations
  • exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
  • ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
  • set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant
