Job Description

Colwen Management, Inc. is an independent franchisee operating a portfolio of hotels including the Renaissance Patriot Place. Colwen Hotels has built a reputation for integrity, hard work, and authenticity in the hospitality industry. With 40 properties across 9 states and a future pipeline of projects, the company provides a collaborative culture and meaningful career growth opportunities.

The Renaissance Patriot Place is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is a hands-on leadership position focused on daily operations and team collaboration to achieve operational excellence. The Assistant General Manager will lead multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering. You will be expected to inspire teams and ensure they meet the company’s and brand’s service standards consistently. This role demands active engagement, from daily property walks to problem-solving challenges as they arise.

Colwen Hotels values leadership that is visible and engaged rather than hidden behind desks. Thus, this role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys being present on the floor, directly interacting with team members, and ensuring high-quality service for guests. The Assistant General Manager also contributes to financial management, supports recruitment and training initiatives, fosters a positive workplace culture, and leads associate recognition efforts. The compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000, reflecting the responsibility and impact of the role.

At Colwen Hotels, leadership is about dedication to excellence in every aspect of hotel operations. Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans with employer matching, and exclusive travel discounts. Ongoing professional development and real career growth opportunities are also significant incentives. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer ensuring diversity and inclusion in the workplace. For any hospitality leader who desires to elevate guest experiences while leading dynamic teams, this opportunity at Renaissance Patriot Place is a promising fit.
